ABOUT BMAC'S AFFORDABLE HOUSING:

One of the many services provided by Blue Mountain Action Council housing department is affordable low-income housing throughout Walla Walla, College Place, Waitsburg, and Pomeroy, WA.

Each of our properties addresses a specific need in the community, consistent with the requirements established by the funding for the specific property. All of our properties are either subsidized or low-income tenants can utilize housing vouchers to ensure that their monthly rent does not exceed 30% of their income.

In cooperation with federal programs such as HUD, state programs through the Washington State Department of Commerce Housing Trust Fund, specific loans, and generous donations, BMAC offers safe, clean, affordable housing for those who otherwise would not be able to afford housing in the communities we serve.

BMAC closely adheres to Fair Housing Laws and Criteria, HUD Criteria, rules and regulations, and the State of Washington Revised Code of Washington Chapter 59.18 Landlord Tenant law. This ensures that each tenant is treated fairly, equally, and in a manner that is in concert with HUD regulations and state law. Additionally, BMAC policies and procedures provide an environment that welcomes all clients and tenants with the highest level of confidentiality, respect, dignity, and care possible.
