Youth Job Training has been a vital part of BMAC for nearly all of its 50-year history. Though the acronyms have changed, we’ve remained committed to improving employment opportunities for young people living in the Walla Walla Valley.
BMAC partners with local area business owners and non-profit agencies to provide real-world work experiences. The young people are also encouraged to get their high school diploma or GED then to pursue post secondary education or advanced skills training.
In addition to establishing eligibility, the individual must be assessed and selected for participation. Note: Documents that confirm an individual’s eligibility for services will be required during the application process. Examples include but are not limited to: birth certificate, social security card, pay stubs, etc. Not all eligible applicants are entitled to selection for the program. Selection is based on individual's level of need and appropriateness for services.
Note: Funding levels determine the number of young people we are able to enroll each year.
